Lincoln Airport (lincolnairport.com) is excited to announce their first NIL deal with Husker Volleyball player Ally Battenhorst. NIL allows college athletes to monetize their name, image, and likeness. The announcement comes after the Lincoln Airport signed a new sponsorship agreement with the Husker Athletics Department to become the official airport of the Huskers earlier this year. The agreement spans over six major sports at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln including football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. During this time the Lincoln Airport launched a new United Airlines flight to Houston, the first Texas route LNK has ever offered.

Ally is from the Houston area and has a great social media following which helps LNK promote the new nonstop flight. Ally’s friends and family have already taken advantage of the new route, and so have Lincolnites, with flight loads consistently being over 75% full.

“I can’t wait for my friends and family to easily join me in Lincoln for game day,” said Ally.

The Lincoln Airport, owned and operated by the Lincoln Airport Authority, is a calm, hassle free travel spot for the people of Nebraska. LNK is the starting point for Nebraskans to get to international airports such as Chicago, Denver, and now Houston, and they pride themselves on making sure people start their travels on a good note.
