CASA for Lancaster County (www.casa4lancaster.org) is searching for local singers to participate in their annual singing competition, Be the Voice Lincoln. This year, the event will take place on February 9 at Screamers Restaurant from 5:30 to 8 p.m. More information about the event will be released soon, so stay up-to-date by following CASA for Lancaster County on Facebook.

If you have dreams of singing on the big stage, CASA is now in the process of scouting contestants. Please contact Amanda Conradt at aconradt@casa4lancaster.org or Kristi Morrow at kmorrow@casa4lancaster.org if you or someone you know is interested in being a contestant.

CASA for Lancaster County recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate on behalf of abused, neglected, truant, and ungovernable children in Juvenile Court. This past year, with the pandemic, has been especially challenging for children in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. CASA volunteers get to know the children, their situation, and then write reports that go directly to the juvenile court judge sharing their observations and recommendations for next steps. To learn more about how you or your business can support these efforts, visit www.casa4lancaster.org or call (402) 474-5161 / (402) 474-5188.
