The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce (LCOC, lcoc.com) is happy to announce the hire of Katie Bohlmeyer, who joined the Chamber team effective May 1. Bohlmeyer comes to the Lincoln Chamber in the role of business policy advocate and will work with local business and government on policies that can best serve the local community.

“I am excited for this opportunity and thrilled to advocate for the Lincoln Business Community,” Bohlmeyer says. “I can’t wait to join the Chamber team and work hard to improve the city that I love.”

Bohlmeyer has previous professional experience as a clerk with the Natural Resources Committee in the Nebraska Legislature and as the research and policy coordinator for the Lincoln Independent Business Association. A 2020 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Bohlmeyer also volunteers with CASA of Gage County.

“We are thrilled to add Katie to our team,” says LCOC President and CEO Jason Ball. “She is going to play a central role in our business advocacy and economic growth efforts as we pursue the goals of the Vitality Lincoln strategic plan.”
