Caring Friends In Home Care (caringfriendsinhomecare.com) is pleased to announce the addition of Case Manager Sara Mertens, RN to their team. Sara has found caring for people has always been a passion of hers. She has worked in healthcare for 22 years, starting her career as a nursing assistant in a rural county hospital and then later completed nursing school to obtain her associates degree in nursing. She has worked in a variety of settings and positions including clinical, long-term care, rehabilitation and RN home health case manager.
In her free time, Sara loves to spend time with her family outdoors. They enjoy camping, fishing, watersports and spending time together with family and friends. Every summer they look forward to the county fair where she gets to enjoy her children showing their livestock and competing in various events. It is Sara’s pleasure to join Caring Friends In Home Care as a case manager and she looks forward to being a part of such an amazing team of people.
