Union Bank & Trust (UBT, ubt.com) recently promoted Matthew Clare to Vice President – Commercial Lending.
Clare joined UBT in 2009 starting in the Customer Service division and has worked in the bank’s Private Banking, Credit Administration and Commercial Loans departments. He’s been a member of the Commercial Loans team for the last seven years. In this role, he works with existing and prospective commercial clients to assist them with their credit and depository banking needs. He also helps his clients with commercial real estate transactions, lines of credit, working capital loans, business acquisition loans and other types of commercial financing.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration, Clare serves the community through his involvement with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln MBA Advisory Board, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln Board of Directors, 2023 United Way Campaign Cabinet and Junior Achievement. He’s a 2020 graduate of Leadership Lincoln.
