Omaha Fashion Week (OFW, omahafashionweek.com) is inspired by an amazing lineup of Emerging, Featured and Headlining Designers who will be showcasing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights of their Spring 2024 AUDACIOUS Season. OFW Spring showcases are scheduled for February 21-24 at Omaha Design Center. Tickets are currently on sale.
Emerging Designers are either brand new to the OFW runway, student designers or veteran designers trying out a completely new method of creation. They will explore themes of nostalgia, revival of youth and societal issues.
Featured Designers are experts at their craft who will showcase high-quality, ready-to-buy looks on the runway. They are inspired by themes of luxury, upcycling and honoring cultural heritage.
This season, OFW will feature headlining designers during three nights of showcases. The headlining lineup kicks off on Thursday with a special collection using vintage pieces from OFW’s archives, courtesy of Astrid Buffett, styled by Maddie Graham of The Frugal Fox.
OFW’s Emerging Designer Golden Sheers Award winners from the Fall 2023 AURORA Season, Abby and Ally Hall, will present their next collection for Mauve Decade on Friday night.
To finish off the weekend, OFW will feature a local men’s suiting retailer, Well Suited @ Lindley Clothing, and OFW is proud to be featuring Kwame Opoku, under his show-stopping label, ISLA O, to end another amazing season of Omaha Fashion Week.
