Goodwill Industries Serving Southeast Nebraska, Inc. (lincolngoodwill.org) partnered with three universities for their annual Campus Move-Out Drive, helping students declutter during and after spring semester finals. This year, students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Concordia University and Nebraska Wesleyan University donated a total of 15,173 pounds of items to Goodwill!

When students donate to Goodwill, they help change lives through the power of work. The revenue from Goodwill’s thrift stores in Lincoln and York helps fund local programs that assist job seekers as they overcome barriers to employment. In 2023 alone, Goodwill served over 5,000 individuals with employment-related services, such as job skills training, mentorship, mock interviews and more. Thanks to community donors, Goodwill also diverted over 1.4 million pounds of materials from the local landfill. Goodwill is grateful for support from organizations like UNL, Concordia and Wesleyan that make this impact possible.

For 92 years, Goodwill Industries Serving Southeast Nebraska, Inc. has been strengthening the Lincoln community by providing services for individuals who face barriers to employment and by offering residents a year-round outlet for donating clothing, electronics, and household items.
