Courtney East PhD Sharon Fenn and Kelly Medwick joined HopeSpoke’s (hopespoke.org) Board of Directors July 1 2024.
Courtney East, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Counseling at Doane University.
“As a Counselor Educator in Lincoln, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the educational impact that HopeSpoke has had on my students as they train to become counselors, as well as the excellent services provided to our community members,” says Courtney. “I’m grateful to give back and support HopeSpoke’s mission as it continues to provide our children and families with such important care.”
After a busy career, Sharon Fenn is currently a Consultant and a Certified Executive Coach. She says, “I am a strong advocate for helping all individuals, and especially children, in times of either acute or chronic mental health struggle. It is my honor to have an opportunity to support HopeSpoke and its vision for all children and families to be healthy and hopeful.”
Kelly’s professional and community work has provided her with opportunities to serve as a connector, dedicated to creating positive outcomes. Through leadership roles at Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, regional businesses and volunteer efforts, she’s seen the vital role of mental health in building strong families and communities. She is excited to support HopeSpoke’s mission as a member of the board of directors.
