The YMCA of Lincoln (YMCALincoln.org) is set to host its third annual Bids for Kids online auction October 22 —November 2. Bidding will open at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22 and conclude at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 2.

Auction proceeds benefit the YMCA’s Annual Fundraising Campaign, which powers critical programs and activities that keep kids safe, people healthy, and families strong. Through the campaign, the YMCA ensures all families have access to Y programing regardless of financial limitations. In 2023, the nonprofit awarded over $670,000 in financial assistance to 6,500 individuals focusing on areas such as before and after school programs, senior activities, swim lessons, youth sports and more.

“We’re excited to showcase a variety of unique items and experiences, thanks to the generosity of many businesses and community members,” shared Dani Bryant, development director for the Lincoln YMCA. “The online format allows those near and far to not only bid on items, but support a great cause from wherever they are.”
