Savvy Seniors Empowerment Seminar (NESavvySeniors.com) is pleased to announce its upcoming sessions and a new location for 2025. While the December seminar will still be held at their current location, Suite 111 in the Clocktower shopping area at 70th and A St., beginning in January, the seminars will move to St. Mark’s Church at 8550 Pioneers Blvd. These monthly seminars, held on the first Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m., provide seniors with essential information, support and community connections on key topics for aging well.
On Wednesday, January 8, Savvy Seniors will host “Artful Aging: Keeping Your Mind and Body Fit Through the Arts” at St. Mark’s Church. This engaging session will highlight the powerful benefits of creative expression. Attendees will discover how integrating the arts into daily life can enhance mental agility, boost mood, and encourage physical activity, helping seniors stay mentally and physically vibrant.
In addition to these seminars, Savvy Seniors offers the Downsizing Club, which supports seniors looking to transition to smaller homes, and the Travel Club, for those interested in exploring new destinations. Both clubs provide a welcoming community and resources to help seniors stay active, connected, and adventurous.
