Join Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (selectlincoln.org) for the Hour of Code event, a morning full of coding activities and an interactive Tech Fair at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 7.

For coding activities, attendees are asked to bring their own computing device (laptop, tablet or smart phone) if they have one available. A limited number of computing devices will be available for public use. The Tech Fair features more than 20 technology- focused booths with educational opportunities and interactive technologies and programs, demonstrations and hands-on activities. There will be robots, virtual reality and so much more–don’t miss out!

This event is FREE and open to the public. All students need to be accompanied by an adult. FREE parking will be available in the paved lot north of Transformation Drive.

Partners for this year’s event include Nebraska Innovation Campus, Nebraska School of Computing, Lincoln Public Schools, UNL Teaching, Learning & Teacher Education, Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, Code.org, Hudl and Spreetail. Last year’s event attracted 600 attendees and 28 tech-focused companies and nonprofits. These collaborative efforts signify a strategic and comprehensive approach to attract and retain talent in Lincoln by showcasing the city’s vibrant professional ecosystem.
