Apace (goapace.com) hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at its new Day Center in Geneva on Wednesday, November 13, marking an exciting milestone for the organization. Around 100 community members attended to tour the facility and learn more about Apace’s commitment to providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live, work and thrive in their communities.
The Geneva Day Center, currently supporting two individuals, is part of Apace’s ongoing mission to provide services to rural communities. The center offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants can engage in meaningful activities, build skills and form connections.
Guests at the open house were able to explore the newly renovated space, meet Apace staff, and hear about the positive impact the center is already making in the lives of those it supports.
“We are thrilled by the community’s support and enthusiasm,” said Matt Kasik, Chief Executive Officer. “This center represents a significant step forward in ensuring that individuals with disabilities in Geneva and surrounding areas have access to the resources and support they need to achieve their goals.”
Apace looks forward to continuing its work in Geneva and fostering inclusive opportunities for all.
