Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (mtko.org) provides a safe space for hope and community, especially during the holiday season. A volunteer team provided, prepared and served a delicious, home-cooked Thanksgiving feast and other teams will provide special meals for lunch and dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. All are welcome!
The “Holiday around the World” event at Matt Talbot will be held on Thursday, December 19. Fun holiday activities will be offered during the lunch hour as well as entrees from several cultures. Santa will be in the dining room during the dinner meal to provide cheer and gifts for the children and other guests.
Community members have worked with staff to provide assistance during the holidays for individuals and families in Matt Talbot’s housing programs. Clients have received assistance with basic needs, transportation, furniture, clothing and Christmas presents for their children.
