Fleur Boutique Ready for the Contemporary Style Shift in the New Haymarket

As the West Haymarket begins to take shape, the market for contemporary style and shopping will hopefully flourish in its development.  But before all this construction was taking place, a long time Lincolnite was well ahead of the curve.  Tammy Vande Gutche, a creative, self-taught interior designer, set out to change the idea of contemporary architecture and décor in Lincoln.  She started with a small design firm, and as her market grew, she felt she needed to open a small boutique to showcase items to complement her new age design.

The Boutique’s name, Fleur, is French for flower.  The boutique’s game is just that and more.  Fleur specializes in unique home décor and flower arrangements with contemporary and often coastal style.  Their approach to both floral design and home décor is pure, distinctive and simple.

Fleur explores all avenues of fresh floral, unique gift items, home décor and accessories.  Working with multiple vendors from around the world, Fleur can always help you carve out your niche.

The shop is located at 440 North 8th Street, Suite 130 right next to the restaurant, Bread and Cup.  Open M-F from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., stop in and chat with Alyssa, the newest addition to Fleur.  Alyssa, the new retail manager, is currently studying Interior Design at the University of Lincoln and is very passionate about the connection between her shop and her clients.  If you are serious about an item in the store or in their catalogues, Fleur will do an in-home consultation, allowing the customer to try items out in their own homes.

Recently, Fleur Boutique has teamed up with a local women’s accessories boutique called “dsts” (Debbie Stuart – Tracy Scott). Specializing in “one of a kind” items from familiar and new designers, “dsts” is a continually evolving fashion apparel and accessories boutique specializing in ornamental style.

Also make sure you check out Fleur’s flower arrangements in both locations of the Oven, as well as Bread & Cup and a wedding near you.
