Last month’s networking lunch was really exciting because many of us got to try a restaurant for the first time—Asian Taste Thai Restaurant (asiantastethairestaurant.com)! Located off of S Folsom and West A Streets, Asian Taste had a lot to offer us on their menu. From the appetizers, we tried the Fish Cakes, Spring Rolls, and many people enjoyed the Crab Rangoon. There was also a great selection of main dishes, including Fried Rice, Stir Fried, Noodles, Curries, Soups, and Salads. They also offer Hibachi! In addition, there is a whole sushi menu to choose from. Our group was impressed with how authentic everything looked and tasted. Many of us mentioned returning soon or getting take out!
Another event we hosted was Friends4Drinks at The Kindler (thekindlerhotel.com) in downtown Lincoln. It was a little rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy their beautiful outdoor patio as much as we would have like to—however there was still good coverage and it’s hard to complain about being inside with a lobby like The Kindler’s. It’s a very classy spot to grab cocktails and delicious appetizers. The bartenders are always friendly and make the experience even better. We enjoyed seeing new and familiar faces join us for this after-hour networking opportunity!

We’ve got another new restaurant on the lineup for this month! El Potro (facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064843157792) is Lincoln’s newest Mexican eatery located off of 10th and Calvert Streets in the former Pizza Hut building. They offer a variety of mouthwatering dishes, such as Mexico originals, specialty dishes, fajitas, burritos and enchiladas, salads and soups, and a unique Gulf of Mexico section for shrimp and crab lovers. On Tuesdays, customers can dine in at El Potro for all-you-can-eat tacos for only $8.99! We’re so excited to gather with friends, clients, and colleagues for this authentic Mexican experience.
