Earlier this month, Lincoln Airport (LincolnAirport.com) announced that Breeze Airways (FlyBreeze.com) is expanding service with new flights to Las Vegas (Harry Reid International Airport – LAS) and Orange County (John Wayne Airport – SNA), starting April 8, 2026.

The Orange County flight will feature Breeze’s convenient “BreezeThru” service, allowing passengers to remain onboard during a brief stop in Las Vegas before continuing on the same aircraft to Southern California.

Flights will operate nonstop on Wednesdays and Saturdays, joining Breeze’s upcoming nonstop service to Orlando (MCO) beginning Dec. 10. These additions give Lincoln travelers seamless access to some of the nation’s most popular leisure and business destinations, providing true coast-to-coast connections from Nebraska.

Passengers will enjoy Breeze’s modern Airbus A220-300 aircraft, featuring a spacious cabin, free family seating, Wi-Fi, and no change or cancellation fees. Breeze’s “Nice,” “Nicer,” and “Nicest” fare bundles provide flexible options, including extra legroom and checked baggage.

“This expansion is a reflection of Breeze Airways’ confidence in Lincoln and the support we’ve received from the community,” said David Neeleman, Founder and CEO of Breeze Airways. “We are thrilled to provide even more travel options for our passengers, making it easier than ever to reach top destinations across the country.”

Breeze continues to rank among the most innovative and fastest-growing airlines in the country. Named one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025 and recognized by

Travel + Leisure as a Top 3 Domestic Airline, Breeze offers affordable fares, brand-new aircraft, and a customer-first experience.

This announcement caps off a year of strong performance and growing local support for Lincoln Airport. More area travelers are flying from their hometown airport than at any time in nearly a decade. A recent market study found:

• LNK captured 20% of all airline passengers in the region during the first quarter of 2025, up from 17% a year earlier.

• United Airlines increased average monthly flights by eight and added 381 more available seats per month compared to 2024.

• Average fares out of LNK dropped $20 each way, while fares at Omaha and Kansas City rose, making LNK a more competitive and convenient choice.

With this new route, Lincoln Airport continues its mission to make flying easier, more connected, and more local than ever.
