ComPro InsuranceHelping YOU Connect The Dots

Everybody says ‘we care’ or ‘our customer service sets us apart,’ but at ComPro, we want to make a difference in our clients’ lives. We never tell someone they’re out on their own. We value the relationships we have established with our clients and they reward us for our commitment to them with extreme loyalty.

– Brian McPike, founder and co-owner of ComPro.

ComPro (www.ComProIns.com) is an insurance agency that has been specializing in health insurance for over 35 years. We help employers create their Employee Benefits packages, and work with our individual clients to find coverage for themselves and their families. We are certified on healthcare.gov and in the Medicare market.

Chris McPike describes the four ingredients of ComPro’s Secret Sauce:

  • Expertise – we know the industry and how to meet our clients’ needs.
  • Compassion – we care about our clients.
  • Integrity – we do what we say we are going to do.
  • Fun – we enjoy our work.

Mix well and share generously!

Owners Brian and Chris McPike are part of the 10-person team at the office located at 1040 N. Cotner Blvd. in northeast Lincoln. There are four licensed agents focused on Employee Benefit plans for employers, three licensed agents that work in the Individual and Medicare markets, and three staff members in Operations.

Employers know that the benefit package their company offers is a key component in attracting and retaining employees. ComPro helps employers find the best fit for their businesses, whether it is a fully-insured plan or a self-funded plan. We get to know our clients in order to connect them to the best solution. Group account manager, Kayla Northup, explains the focus and success ComPro has in the small business market. “We understand small businesses because we are a small business, too. Our clients are experts in their industries, but we share our expertise to find solutions that benefit both the employer and employee. We advocate for the businesses we service until we can resolve the situation in a positive way.”

At ComPro, we help individuals and families who have a range of different health insurance needs. “Self-employed individuals and those who retire before age 65 face the challenge of providing their own health insurance. Those who are over 65 need to understand the options of Medicare coverage. Many people need help navigating the ACA Marketplace and some people need to find temporary coverage,” explains Melisa Haessler, individual account manager.

Fall is a busy season at ComPro. Most employers make decisions during the fourth quarter about the plans they will offer their employees in 2019. The Annual Election Period for Medicare coverage runs from October 15 through December 7. In addition, Open Enrollment for Marketplace is November 1 through December 15. This is when families and individuals who don’t have employer coverage should review their insurance options and enroll for coverage for 2019.

The ComPro process is to listen well so that we can discover our clients’ needs and present solutions to simplify health insurance decisions. Whether it’s helping businesses decide on Employee Benefits or individuals find coverage for their families, we are committed to the people we serve. We “Connect the Dots” in the confusing world of health insurance.
