The Lincoln Independent Businesses Association (LIBA, www.liba.org) is excited to host their annual golf outing on Friday, September 1. Check-in time for the event begins at 8 a.m. and the tee time will start at 10 a.m. Proceeds go towards scholarships for local high school graduates in Lancaster County who are planning to attend college/university in Nebraska.

Those who are looking to sign up for this event can contact Bud Synhorst for more information. If you aren’t much of a golfer, hole sponsorships are also open, in which a sponsor can provide free games, prizes, food and/or drinks for the golfers at certain holes. LIBA is also accepting donations for this event.

The LIBA Foundation strives to educate, strengthen and support the Lincoln business community through youth education, charitable donations, entrepreneurial assistance and perpetuation of the Lincoln Independent Business Association. Founded in 1996, LIBA works to promote its mission through several projects, including sponsorship of Student Vote, contributing to the LIBA scholarship program and sponsorship of Junior Achievement. For more information, visit their website at www.liba.org. If you are interested in registering for the golf tournament, contact Bud Synhorst at (402) 466-3419 or by email at bud@liba.org.
