AmanaCare (amana-care.com) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mikah Christensen. She will now be the case manager for all of Nebraska.
Mikah has lived in Lincoln for all of her life. At home, she has a five-year-old son with special needs and two cats named Xanda and Scully. For education and work, she has her Applied Science Associates Degree in Health and Human Services.
Mikah has spent the last 10 years working in direct care in many capacities, including non-medical home care, home health/hospice, direct support professional for individuals with mental health diagnosis and juvenile group homes.
In her free time, she is a board member for Lincoln’s nonprofit ‘The Tree of Hope’ where she volunteers her time assisting community members in need. She also dedicates time participating in SPARK research for autism. Mikah’s hobbies include reading and painting.
