Belmont Community Center Aims to Raise $8,500 in Honor of 85-Year Anniversary
The Belmont Community Center (BCC, www.belmontcommunitycenter.org) is celebrating a big milestone in 2022 having been in the Belmont neighborhood serving families and residents for 85 years, so to celebrate, they have set a goal to raise $8,500 in donations.
Will you join them in celebrating the rich history of the Belmont neighborhood by giving to the BCC? Donations to the community center support quality early childhood education, out-of-school youth programs for grades K-5, and various neighborhood events. A great way to support the BCC is through the upcoming Give to Lincoln Day fundraiser for local nonprofits.
Online giving begins on May 1, building up to the city-wide Give to Lincoln Day on May 26. Donations can be made online at www.givetolincoln.com or via a check sent to the Lincoln Community Foundation. Best of all, dollars given throughout the G2L donation window will make an even bigger impact because there are proportional matching funds given to all participating nonprofits.
