Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln (bbbsl.org) invites you to be a part of this year’s Boo-ling For Kids’ Sake fundraising campaign, which will conclude with bowl-athon celebrations on October 22 from 1 to 11 p.m. and October 23 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Parkway Lanes, courtesy of 48 Bowl. Teams are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween attire!

Boo-ling for Kids’ Sake convenes community partners and individuals to help raise critical funds which make it possible to match youth with a caring and supportive adult mentor. Starting now, you can support this year’s event by creating your own bowling team or make an individual contribution. Your donation and the money raised by participants will go directly to create and support local matches.

Teams must be registered by October 9 so there is enough time to order t-shirts. Each team aims to reach a goal of $500 by October 12. To find more event information, register a team, or donate, visit bbbsl.org.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln makes meaningful matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and young people (“Littles”) ages 7-16 throughout Lincoln. They develop positive friendships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Bigs can provide new and inspiring opportunities for Littles to explore the community and learn skills that they may not have otherwise had an opportunity to experience.
