Bright Lights (BrightLights.org) is excited to announce that this year’s Star Search will be taking place on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to noon. Gather up your team and get ready for a fun, family-friendly and team-based scavenger hunt around Lincoln! All proceeds from the event will benefit Bright Lights Summer Learning Adventures, a local nonprofit that has been offering hands-on summer learning camps for K-8th grade students for 37 summers.
Teams will need to check in at 9:30 a.m. for Star Search. After checking in, the teams will take off using a scavenger hunt app to follow missions around Lincoln and earn points. A team may consist of families, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and anyone else as long as everyone can fit into one vehicle. You can even put together two teams and compete against each other! When the game ends at noon, teams will meet up for a provided lunch and prizes will be awarded to the top teams. Costumes are encouraged, as well as an adventurous spirit and a willingness to have fun! Register your team online at brightlights.org/events.
