Bright Lights Summer Camp Schedule Now Available, Registration Opens March 5

Bright Lights (BrightLights.org) is excited to announce that their summer 2022 camp schedule—listing out the specific half-day and full-day camp topics they are offering each week—is now available at BrightLights.org! Their summer camp program lets K-8th grade students pick a topic of interest and have fun immersing themselves in it for a week over summer vacation.

Bright Lights has been offering hands-on, STEAM-infused summer learning experiences for students in K-8th grades for 35 years. There’s something for almost everyone with camp topics ranging from art and science, to robotics, literature, engineering, sports, cooking, and more!

Bright Lights camps will take place over five weeks: June 6-10, June 13-17, June 20-24, June 27-July 1, and July 11-15. Roper Elementary will be the main site for Bright Lights camps this summer (others will occur at various community sites around Lincoln) with Before Care and Lunch Care services available at select locations. More details on these services, their scholarship program, and also how older students can volunteer as camp assistants can be found at BrightLights.org. Registration for summer camps will also be available on their website starting Saturday, March 5, at 8 a.m.
