Sumner Place (sumnerplacecare.com) is proud to announce that 89% of residents and their families would recommend the community to friends and loved ones, according to recent satisfaction survey results.
Each year, all Vetter Senior Living communities conduct surveys to gather feedback on the quality of care, food, activities and overall resident experience. The surveys include both structured questions and open-ended prompts, allowing residents to share their thoughts in their own words.
Sumner Place does not take the responses lightly and loves hearing all feedback, whether negative or positive. The hope is that with Sumner Place’s resident-focused care, they can make any changes that are needed if there are missteps while folks are in their care, acting in the moment when areas of improvement are needed.
They are always striving to improve every aspect of senior living and embody “Dignity in Life” as that is what the seniors deserve. Although the larger survey is conducted annually, they do also have a survey that is given out to residents within their first few months at a Vetter facility to gauge how they’re feeling and to ensure that the transition is going smoothly.
Over the next month, they will dive into the data and create action plans so that next year the survey results can be even better, but beyond the numbers, they aim to provide the highest quality services to the elders.
