Technicians at A1 Automotive (a1autolincoln.com) are going through expensive training to bring more complex equipment and technology into the shop for expanded services and diagnostics.
The goal of this training is to equip A1 Automotive technicians with the knowledge and hands-on skills to confidently diagnose, test, code and repair BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen vehicles using ICON scan tools and manufacturer-level diagnostic software.
Why This Training Matters:
European vehicles require more than generic OBD-II scanners. Factory-level software provides access to control modules, guided troubleshooting, coding, adaptations, service functions and programming capabilities that generic tools cannot fully perform. BMW’s ISTA platform is specifically designed for dealer-level diagnostics and repair workflows.
They have OE BMW ISTA software and can provide updates to modules if needed, along with ICON for Audi/VW. They have trained exclusively with trainers flying in from German Motor Support for the Q1 training and teaching them pattern failures and how to help create long term success for customers’ vehicles.
