ALLO Commits to Giving Free Internet to 75 Nonprofits for 10 Years

ALLO Communications (www.allocommunications.com) and the City of Lincoln announced in October that they will give more than $2 million in free, high-speed internet to 75 local nonprofits for the next 10 years. Thirty-five nonprofits have already been selected based on organizations that ALLO has donated to in the past, and the remaining 40 nonprofits will be selected through a lottery system run by the city.

Applications for the free service were open through November 15. To qualify, nonprofits had to have fewer than 75 full-time employees in Lincoln, and they had to have been in operation for at least two years.

In a 2018 nationwide speed test and fixed broadband performance report based on more than 115 million user-initiated speed tests, ALLO Communications was found to be the fastest provider with an average download speed of more than 173 mbps.

ALLO’s growth and success over the past decade are thanks in large part to their reputation for excellent customer service, technical capabilities, experienced and knowledgeable personnel, and superior products. Since 2003, ALLO has provided customers with the most modern network possible while employing a team of engineers, operators, and technical experts who constantly work with customers to develop creative ways to utilize ALLO’s fiber network.
