The Capital Humane Society Hosted a Tails & Treats Trunk or Treat Event at CHS’s Pieloch Adoption Center at 70th and Hwy 2 on October 14. Ashley Freese Agency of American Family Insurance had a booth set up that allowed kids to paint their own pumpkin or color a spooky Halloween coloring page – and of course, get some candy! They had treats for the cute pets that came too.
Ashley Freese Agency of American Family Insurance also donated a family pack of tickets to Roca Berry Farm to the winner of the Pet Halloween Costume, in which each sponsor voted for the best dressed dog Halloween costume at the end of the event. All proceeds went towards helping these sweet pets find furever homes.
