Better Business Bureau of the Midwest Plains (bbb.org) has announced the 2026 winners of its Torch Awards for Ethics, the organization’s most prestigious recognition program honoring businesses, nonprofits and leaders that have built their operations around the Four C’s of Trust: Character, Culture, Customers and Community.

“The organizations we celebrate this year have set a clear standard for doing business the right way,” said Josh Planos, BBB Midwest Plains Vice President of Marketing & Communications. “Their leadership in fostering ethical environments strengthens trust across our entire region.”

Nebraska winners include: A View Venues, Accurate Books LLC, Core Bank, EverLevel Concrete Repair, Gordian Staffing, Hillcrest Health & Living, Mary the Medicare Lady, NExT Foundation, Riekes Equipment Co., T Square Movers and Thermal Services. As local winners, each organization advances to the International Torch Awards for Ethics, with final selections announced this fall.

All honorees will be recognized at the 2026 Torch Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, September 22, at A View West Shores in Omaha. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.; the program runs 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year’s luncheon marks several milestones: BBB will present its first-ever Torch Award dedicated to woman-owned businesses, and keynote speaker Maggi Thorne — nine-time American Ninja Warrior competitor and business owner — will address attendees. BBB also awarded 20 scholarships to first-generation, low-income students across its five-state service area, who will attend as honored guests.
