BBB’s Lincoln Integrity Award Winners Announced

Encouraging and supporting ethical business practices are ways the Better Business Bureau (BBB) carries out its mission “to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.” BBB is pleased to conduct its Annual Integrity Awards program to gain public recognition for organizations committed to ethical business practices and going “above and beyond” in serving their customers, employees, vendors and communities.

The 2018 metro Lincoln Award Winners are: Graceful In Home Healthcare, Makovicka Physical Therapy, Honda of Lincoln and Nelson Contracting, Milford, NE. They were honored at a luncheon on August 30 at the Nebraska Innovation Center. Each organization received a crystal flame—a symbol that that they are lighting the way for an ethical marketplace in their community.

Each year, applicants are selected to receive these prestigious awards through regional competitions. The 2018 Winners were selected from applications submitted to BBB’s Lincoln office by an independent panel of judges representing both Lincoln’s business and academic communities.

“These companies represent what is best about businesses in this area. They have solid business practices, based on a commitment to serve their customers with the highest standard of ethics. They have built successful companies because of the trust that has been established, and these Awards recognize their leadership,” stated BBB President and CEO Jim Hegarty.
