Christine Vanderford Law Announces New Location, Open House September 5
Christine Vanderford Law, PC LLO (vanderfordlaw.com), announces the grand opening of its new law office at 6030 Village Dr., STE 101. To celebrate the move, Vanderford Law is holding an open house on Thursday, September 5, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Vanderford opened her private practice in 2003, specializing in estate planning, elder care and planning for old age, business development, and family law. She moved her practice to the Williamsburg Village area of Lincoln to better serve her clients.
Prior to opening her private practice, Vanderford worked for nine years with then Attorney General Don Stenberg, serving as press secretary and assistant attorney general for the State of Nebraska. During this time, she focused on consumer protection, working closely with Nebraska seniors and consumer organizations to fight consumer scams, fraud and abuse. In 2002, Vanderford assisted the attorney general in publishing the “2002 Nebraska Consumer Guide,” and was recognized while working to establish the Nebraska AMBER Plan, a child abduction system implemented statewide. The documents she wrote are now used for Nebraska’s AMBER Plan and were a model for the National AMBER plan.
Vanderford belongs to several professional and civic organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Nebraska Bar Association, the Lincoln Bar Association, the Nebraska AMBER Committee, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln Caregiver Education Group, Lincoln Estate Planning Council, and Citizen Advocacy.
