DAVINCI’S (davincis.com) will host its 41st Annual Free Easter Dinner on Easter Sunday, April 5, continuing a long-standing tradition of serving neighbors and bringing people together for the holiday. The meal will be offered at the 11th & G Street location only, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What began in 1984 by the Knudson family as a simple act of gratitude has grown into a beloved community event rooted in the spirit of Easter including generosity, fellowship, and kindness. The dinner is open to anyone who might find themselves in need of a warm meal and friendly company on Easter, especially those who may be spending the holiday alone.
Each year, approximately 50 to 60 volunteers from throughout the community, many of them DAVINCI’S team members and local church partners, come together to serve hundreds of pounds of pasta, pizza, and garlic cheese rolls. Local families and businesses also contribute by donating cupcakes, helping make the day even more special.
Those interested in volunteering or donating cupcakes are encouraged to contact the DAVINCI’S office at (402) 434-3300 and ask for Krista or Missy.
DAVINCI’S is honored to continue this meaningful tradition and to celebrate Easter by serving others and sharing a meal together.
