Dr. Keli Kolegraff, local plastic and reconstructive surgeon and founder of Katniss Clinic (katnissclinic.janeapp.com), will join patients, survivors, and supporters at the Making Strides of Nebraska walk on Sunday, October 19 in Lincoln. The event raises vital funds for breast cancer research, support services, and survivor resources that make a meaningful impact in communities across the state.

At Katniss Clinic, Dr. Kolegraff specializes in expert plastic and reconstructive surgery with a focus on natural results and deeply personalized care, particularly for those affected by breast cancer. From post-mastectomy breast reconstruction to restorative procedures, the clinic is honored to walk alongside patients not only in the surgical suite—but in life.

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign supports critical programs such as $74 million+ invested in breast cancer-specific research grants.

“Cancer care is much more than the treatments themselves,” said Dr. Kolegraff. “The funds raised provide essential resources like free rides to chemo, places to stay near treatment centers, and 24/7 emotional support. Every dollar raised helps minimize the everyday stressors for patients here in Nebraska so that they can focus on their treatments, healing and recovery. We do not want them to feel alone or unsupported in their journey.”
