Midwest Bank (www.midwestbank.com) has been awarded a $25,000 economic development grant to help the Village of Pilger. FHLBank Topeka, a wholesale financial institution of which Midwest Bank is a member, awarded the grant through its Joint Opportunities for Building Success (JOBS) program. JOBS helps financial institutions throughout Colorado, Kansars, Nebraska and Oklahoma promote jobs and economic growth in their communities. The JOBS grant will provide funding to assist Pilger through a difficult period of rebuilding.
