First National Bank Sending “Cookies from Home” to Overseas Service Members

First National Bank of Omaha (www.fnbo.com) is proud to salute all military service members who have served or are serving in the United States Armed Forces. To show the bank’s support and appreciation for their honorable service and patriotism, First National Bank of Omaha invited the public to nominate service members to receive cookies to ring in the New Year. As a result of this effort, First National employee volunteers will package cookies that will be delivered in late January to service members serving overseas. Each Cookies from Home care package will also include candy and notes of thanks, many of these written by students in the community. This is the fourth year for First National Bank of Omaha’s Cookies from Home program. Last year, the bank sent over 36,000 cookies to service members.

The Cookies from Home program gives First National Bank of Omaha the opportunity to make an impact in the community while sharing the joy of the holidays with service members overseas. It’s also a way for employees to get involved, from helping package the cookies to making nominations themselves.
