Fit4Lincoln Ownership Purchases The Driven Academy and Ambassadors Sports in 2021

CJ Cooper, the owner of Fit4Lincoln (www.fit4lincoln.com) and Three Pillars Performance, co-purchased two more businesses in 2021: The Driven Academy and Ambassadors Sports. At the end of 2020, CJ decided to leave his 20-year career in banking to pursue his entrepreneurial dream of owning a gym that would help people reach their health and fitness goals. Fit4Lincoln, a high-intensity interval/boot camp-style gym located at 1359 S 33rd St., allowed CJ to do just that. He became the official owner in January of 2021.

Three Pillars Performance is a sports and performance training program that Fit4Lincoln created within their facility, but The Driven Academy’s 11,000-square-foot training complex at 445 N 66th St. will provide a much larger and more equipped space for the program moving forward. The Driven Academy—complete with retractable cages for multi-purpose space and training aids such as balls, tees, pitching mats, and pitching machines—also offers one-on-one coaching, a membership so athletes can access the facility 24/7 to practice their skills, and recruiting advice to help navigate the process.

In addition, after being involved as a coach for about seven years, CJ jumped at the opportunity to purchase and serve as executive director for Ambassadors Sports, previously named Ambassador Basketball Association (ABA). Ambassadors Sports is faith-based sports club that organizes basketball, baseball, and eventually soccer tournaments for kids ages 8-18. Students have the opportunity to try out for a team and be a part of an enriching experience that will result in athletic and spiritual development.
