FNBO (fnbo.com/impact) has awarded $70,000 in Impact Grants to four Lincoln organizations, announced Tom Klein, Senior Advisor in Commercial Banking in Lincoln. The grants support programs aligned with FNBO’s giving pillars of affordable housing, workforce development and financial literacy.
“Each year, we see how these programs open doors for individuals and families across Lincoln,” Klein said. “When people have access to opportunities that build financial confidence and stability, it uplifts the entire community. We’re proud to support the organizations making that difference every day.”
This year’s recipients include:
ECHO Collective – $10,000: Supports The Refinery Program, which provides entrepreneurship curriculum to equip participants with business knowledge, mentorship and ongoing resources to successfully launch and grow small businesses.
Educare of Lincoln, Inc. – $10,000: Supports the Early Childhood Education Program, which provides free, year-round care for children up to age 5, enabling parents to work while ensuring kindergarten readiness.
Nebraska Housing Developers Association – $25,000: Supports home heating and cooling upgrades for low-income homeowners, statewide homebuyer education, down payment assistance and online renter education to improve housing affordability and stability.
NeighborWorks Lincoln – $25,000: Supports the Real Estate Development Program, which builds affordable housing for low-income families through construction, rehabilitation and comprehensive homebuyer preparation services.
