True Value Company is pleased to announce that the official grand opening of Glenn’s True Value was recently held on Wednesday, April 30. Glenn’s True Value is the third True Value retail location owned by local independent hardware retailer and entrepreneur Steve Glenn, who has been in the Lincoln hardware business for 12 years. The grand opening celebration kicked off with a ribbon cutting, refreshments and promotions, including free rakes for the first 300 customers in the door at 10 a.m., at 1265 N. Cotner Blvd in the Piedmont Shopping Center Glenn bought last year and is revitalizing. The new store opening is part of a larger $5 million project Glenn is spearheading to revamp the 58-year-old shopping center by summer 2014. The 8,000 square foot store fills 15 percent of the 50,000 square foot major neighborhood shopping center.
