Guiding Hands for Senior Transitions Now Serving Lincoln Residents
A new business in the local senior health care industry to have on your radar is Guiding Hands for Senior Transitions. Guiding Hands, which officially began serving clients in May, is dedicated to being a resource for people who are not sure how to navigate the senior services and options that are available to them. For a signup fee of $100 and a monthly membership of $75, Guiding Hands will work to take away the worry and burdens of caring for a loved one. By signing up, you or your loved one is evaluated by trained individuals in the industry who help create a Life Plan that matches the wishes of your loved one. Guiding Hands also helps with communication between family members to ensure everyone has the same information.
Owner Stephanie Witt became a Certified Nurse’s Aide while working her way through college, where she earned her master’s degree in healthcare management. She studied nursing courses and became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Her goal is to prepare people for the best and worst case scenarios. When the unexpected happens, she is there as a resource to guide you through hospital stays, rehabilitation stays, home health services, maintaining homes, understanding Medicare and Medicaid, and anything else needed to ensure you are providing them the best life and most importantly, quality time.
