HBAL’s Annual Golf Tournament June 4 Kicks Off Series of 3 Foundation Events
The Home Builders Association of Lincoln’s (HBAL’s) annual golf tournament, which draws about 250 participants each year, will tee up on Friday, June 4 at Highlands Golf Course. The tournament marks the first of three annual events to benefit the Lincoln Home Builders Care Foundation, established in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) charitable, nonprofit organization dedicated to the future of the home building industry in Lancaster County. The Foundation strives to support the community by contributing to community service projects focused on housing, as well as providing scholarships for students pursuing a career related to the building industry and providing funding for other industry related educational programs.
The second event will also be a golf tournament, put on by the Remodelers Council. This tournament includes fun side games and opportunities to network and will be at Holmes Golf Course on August 20. HBAL switches gears for the third fundraising event and heads to Brainard for the 14th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot on October 8. This event runs much like a golf tournament, whereby teams of five walk the course of 25 stations trying to hit the most targets. Prizes are awarded for highest team score and individual score.
