High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center (www.highplainsseniorliving.com) will be hosting an Alzheimer’s Awareness Night at the Lincoln Stars hockey game November 17. The game is set to start at 7:05 p.m. If you would like to purchase tickets, a fundraiser link will be put on their website as the event date gets closer. At the event, High Plains will be selling Alzheimer’s Awareness t-shirts. A portion of all ticket and shirt sales will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.

High Plains holds multiple events each year to spread awareness and collect donations for Alzheimer’s research, as it is an issue very close to their hearts. Research plays a vital role in advancing understanding about Alzheimer’s so that potential treatments or preventative measures can be found.
