Home Builders Association of Lincoln Presents Annual Home & Garden Show February 8–10

The weekend of February 8–10, the Lancaster Event Center will feature more than 250 exhibitors at the 47th Annual Nebraska Builders Home & Garden Show, produced by the Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL; www.hbal.org/builders-home-garden-show). The show will take place in Pavilions 1 and 4 on Friday, February 8, 1–9 p.m.; Saturday, February 9, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; and Sunday, February 10, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Entrance fee for adults is $8; $7 with a non-perishable food item for the Lincoln Food Bank. Children ages 12 years and under are free.

The Nebraska Builders Home & Garden Show will have great ideas for landscaping, decorating, remodeling, or building a new home. It features the latest products for both the do-it-yourselfers and those who want to hire a professional. Whether talking to builders or seeing new products, the show is an outstanding opportunity to get inspired.

In addition to the Home Show, HBAL also promotes home building and remodeling through its annual Spring and Fall Parade of Homes and the Tour of Remodeled Homes. Did you know, HBAL has also given over $174,000 to the Lincoln community? Almost one-third of their financial contributions go towards scholarships for students entering a residential construction field. HBAL is currently accepting applications for three scholarships valued at up to $750 each. These scholarships are awarded to high school seniors attending The Career Academy in the building pathway who plan to continue their education at SCC-Milford. They also offer a $1,000 President’s Scholarship which is awarded to a high school senior who has a parent, grandparent, or other relative who owns or works for an HBAL member company.
