IABC Lincoln Presents Spring Workshop: “Employees, Engagement and Enthusiasm”

On Wednesday, May 16th, the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) of Lincoln (lincoln.iabc.com) will host, “Employees, Engagement and Enthusiasm,” a hands-on workshop with guest speaker, Mark Kretschmar, ABC, MA. Mark is an engineer-turned-communication expert and professor who focuses on increasing employee engagement.

During the workshop, attendees will learn the latest research on the state of employee engagement, primary levers that get employees to care, and communication strategies and tactics for driving engagement.

As an experienced corporate communication manager, Mark has created award-winning strategic communication plans for marketing and internal communication. His plans have increased market share from 40-90% in one year, increased employee engagement, and reduced quality problems by 50%. He also coaches executives and sales staff for important presentations.

IABC is an organization that links communicators to a global network supporting the highest professional standards of quality and innovation in organizational communication. The Lincoln

Chapter has approximately 45 members, making it large enough to offer regional and international services, yet small enough to provide hands-on local workshops and seminars.

The event will be from 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott in the Lincoln Downtown Haymarket, 808 R St. Register now at: lincoln.iabc.com/events. For more information, contact Janet Denison via email at janetd@visionexhibits.com.
