Kinetic Celebrates Military Appreciation Month with Podcast, Thank a Hero Drive
As a business recognized for a commitment to hiring veterans, Kinetic Business by Windstream (business.windstream.com) is giving thanks and celebrating our troops throughout Military Appreciation Month in May. Kinetic has partnered with A Million Thanks to launch the Kinetic Heroes initiative, through which community members can write and send thank-you notes to deployed service members by dropping letters off at any Kinetic retail store. In their Connecting Business podcast in May, you will also hear from an active-duty Army National Guard staff sergeant and a member of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve on how businesses of all sizes can be good military employers.
According to a report by PEW Research, a majority of veterans say their military service was useful in giving them the skills and training they needed for a job outside the military and provided good preparation for a civilian job. Kinetic has been and will continue to be a proud partner of veterans and remains committed to hiring and retaining military veterans across their footprint and in Lincoln.
