LHRMA to Host November Workshop on Workplace Accountability
The Lincoln Human Resource Management Association (LHRMA; lincolnhr.org/calendar) will host a program and workshop, Hardwiring Accountability Into Your Workplace, on Thursday, November 13 from 11:15 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Quilt Museum, 1523 N. 33rd St.
Many people talk about accountability, but few organizations are actually successful in ensuring that personal accountability is hardwired into their talent and everyday business operations. Accountability has been illusive for many organizations, as they have not yet come to understand how to calculate the true value of an employee, how to drive it through great leadership, and how to measure the results. Let presenter Ana (Martos-Correa) Dorr of Reality Based Leadership lead you through a variety of sessions to best equip you with tools to “hardwire” accountability throughout your organization. Some of the session’s objectives include techniques for hiring, performance management, hosting tough conversations, and simple coaching frameworks. The goal of this event is for you to leave being more prepared to form an engaged and accountable team.
The deadline for registration is Thursday, November 8. Cost for the lunch program is $15 for LHRMA members and $25 for all other attendees. Cost of the workshop registration for all attendees is $35. Student LHRMA members receive free attendance to the luncheon. Students must register through Jenessa Keiser at college.relations@lincolnhr.org.
