LIBA Foundation (www.liba.org) is excited to announce that they will be hosting a golf tournament on Friday, September 1 at NuMark Golf Course. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. with tee time set for 10 a.m.
Hole sponsors providing free games, prizes, food and/or drinks for the golfers will receive a sign with their company name at their designated hole and their logo on promotional materials at the event. All hole sponsors are non-exclusive.
Alcoholic beverages must be purchased through NuMark Golf Course. Each sponsor is responsible for making those arrangements prior to the tournament. NuMark Golf Course can be reached at (402) 488-7888, and LIBA Foundation can answer questions at (402) 466-3419.
This annual fundraising event raises money for scholarships that are given to local high school students graduating from high school in Lancaster County that attend a college or university in Nebraska. Scholarships are awarded each May. This year, 12 scholarships were given by the LIBA Foundation.
The LIBA Foundation strives to educate, strengthen and support the Lincoln business community through youth education, charitable donations, entrepreneurial assistance and perpetuation of the Lincoln Independent Business Association. Founded in 1996, LIBA Foundation works to promote its mission through several projects, including sponsorship of Student Vote, contributing to the LIBA Foundation scholarship program and sponsorship of Junior Achievement.
