Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA, liba.org) will be hosting a LIBA Member Tailgate Saturday, September 23. The event will take place at From Nebraska Gift Shop located at 803 Q St. The tailgate will start four hours prior to kickoff and run until 30 minutes before kickoff.
LIBA is focused on connecting members of the business community to come together to shop local and support local business. The economy of Lincoln will only thrive when local businesses are successful. The LIBA Tailgate is a time to bring business owners together to support local as well as to support the Huskers.
LIBA was founded in 1980 to serve as the voice of small businesses in Lincoln. The mission of LIBA is to provide leadership and educational opportunities to the business community, to educate the public concerning the vital role of business in the creation of meaningful jobs and in meeting the payrolls that allow our citizens to enjoy quality of life, to communicate the concerns of the business community to elected and appointed officials at all levels of local government and to support political candidates who understand and promote the free enterprise system.
