The Lincoln Airport (lincolnairport.com) has become a leader in the airport industry when it comes to community engagement and strategic partnerships. They are excited to announce their next name, image and likeness (NIL) partnership with University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Husker Athletics’ cross country and track athlete, Hannah Godwin.
Since 2021, NIL has created an opportunity for college athletes to use their recognition to collaborate with brands, and this partnership allows LNK to engage with athletes like Hannah to promote flying local. Godwin is a Nebraska native and is entering her senior year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Throughout her time as a Husker, she has been an outstanding distance runner and an honor roll student. With her spare time Hannah loves to travel and support local. In addition to working with Godwin, LNK is now the Official Airport of the Good Life Halfsy, organized by Pink Gorilla Events. Linda Brown, Sponsorship Director said, “Pink Gorilla Events is excited to team up with the Lincoln Airport as the Official Airport of the 2024 Good Life Halfsy.” Pink Gorilla Events is an event production company focused on producing “big experiences for runners,” including arguably the most significant race in Nebraska, The Good Life Halfsy.
