Lincoln Airport (LNK) (LincolnAirport.com) has enhanced its website with integrated travel planning tools designed to make it easier for travelers to compare options and book flights directly from their hometown airport.
Visitors to LincolnAirport.com can now search for available routes, review schedules, and book flights directly from LNK using an integrated FlyMyAirport® booking platform. Unlike third-party travel sites that default to larger airports, the tool sets Lincoln as the departure point, allowing travelers to see what is available close to home.
In addition to the booking platform, Lincoln Airport has partnered with Strategic Knowledge, an aviation data analytics firm, to launch an online cost comparison calculator available on the airport’s home page. The tool provides side-by-side comparisons between flying from LNK and driving to Eppley Airfield in Omaha or Kansas City International Airport. By factoring in mileage, fuel, parking, and time value, travelers can see the full cost of starting their trip outside Lincoln.
Scott Thompson, President of Strategic Knowledge, said the calculator was designed specifically to support Lincoln’s air service strategy.
