Santa Claus is flying into town and is landing at the Lincoln Airport (lincolnairport.com)! On Friday, December 16 from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Santa and his elves will be visiting the CommuteAir Hangar located at 3801 NW 34th St.
While waiting to see Santa, his elves will be holding free face paintings as well as balloon art. There will also be a free station for kids to make “reindeer food”, other crafts, and a hot chocolate bar. Weather pending, the event will be followed with an outdoor showing of the movie Elf around 6 p.m. The event is located on the west side of the airport, in an open green space. The movie will be projected on the side of an old Cold War hangar, attendees will be allowed to stay in their cars or bring blankets and chairs to sit in the grass.
