Lincoln Cabinet Designers Earn Certification

On February 12, Sarah Kmitta, Katie Little, and Shari Lewis of Lincoln Cabinet (www.lincolncabinet.com) attended the Midwest Training Institute’s Initial Lead Renovator class in cooperation with the Home Builders Association of Lincoln (HBAL). As a result, each of them received their EPA certification, allowing them to administer the lead testing required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for homes built before 1978. The Lead Renovator (RRP) Initial Certification course is an eight-hour training session in lead safety. The RRP Rule requires firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, or pre-schools built before 1978 to be certified by EPA (or an EPA authorized state). Not only are all of Lincoln Cabinets designers EPA Lead-Paint Certified Renovators, Lincoln Cabinet is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm.
